STANDARD (DEFAULT) SEARCH USES "AND" OPERATOR, EXACT SEARCH

Exact word search is ON. See section WILD CARDS. AND is default Operator. See section BOOLEAN OPERATORS below.
CustomsMobile’s Regulations search engine by default performs exact searches. It also treats two or more searched words as if connected with AND. Example:
Returns only regulations containing fish AND origin. Also does not include fishes, fishing, origination, etc. See section WILD CARDS below.

BOOLEAN OPERATORS (MUST BE CAPITALIZED)

CustomsMobile Regulations by default performs an AND search when two or more terms are specified and no Boolean operators are used.
Returns only regulations containing both fish and origin (default)
Returns regulations containing either fish or origin
Returns only regulations containing fish but not origin
Any combination of Boolean operators is allowed. Example:
Grouping is possible by use of parentheses. Example:

WILD CARDS / TRUNCATION / FUZZY SEARCHES

Exact word search is ON. You must use wildcards or fuzzy searches for results other than exact matches.
Regulations Mobile allows various types of approximation searches:

fish* finds: fish, fisher, fishing, etc.
The asterisk (*) finds any no. of characters. It can be placed anywhere in the word.
?
??FTA finds: NAFTA, UKFTA, AUFTA, etc.
Each question mark (?) finds one character. There is no limit to the number of question mark(s), they need not be adjacent, and can be placed anywhere in the word.

fish~.7 finds: wish, fish
Following search term with ~n returns similarly spelled words. "n" ranges from 0 (least similar) to 1 (most similar). Default is 0.5.
You may combine any Boolean operator & Wild Card:

RELEVANCE BOOST

Regulations Mobile allows you to boost the relevance of terms in any search:
Boosts relevance of the term in a search. Scale is 1-10

PROXIMITY OPTIONS

Finds the words in quotes within n words of each other in either direction
Combine with NOT to exclude results containing words in a certain proximity
