Appendix - Table 20 to Subpart UUU of Part 63—Continuous Compliance With Organic HAP Emission Limits for Catalytic Reforming Units

As stated in § 63.1566(c)(1), you shall meet each requirement in the following table that applies to you.

For each applicable process vent for a new or existing catalytic reforming unit . . . For this emission limit . . . You shall demonstrate continuous compliance during initial catalyst depressuring and catalyst purging operations by . . .
1. Option 1Vent emissions from your process vent to a flareOn and after January 30, 2019, meeting the requirements of § 63.670. Prior to January 30, 2019, maintaining visible emissions from a flare below a total of 5 minutes during any 2 consecutive hours, or meeting the requirements of § 63.670.
2. Option 2Reduce uncontrolled emissions of total organic compounds (TOC) or nonmethane TOC from your process vent by 98 percent by weight using a control device or to a concentration of 20 ppmv (dry basis as hexane), corrected to 3 percent oxygen, whichever is less stringent.Maintaining a 98 percent by weight emission reduction of TOC or nonmethane TOC; or maintaining a TOC or nonmethane TOC concentration of not more than 20 ppmv (dry basis as hexane), corrected to 3 percent oxygen, whichever is less stringent.
