Subject: Updated ACE AESTIR Documentation Posted on CBP.gov
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) removed the draft status of the following Automated 
Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) documents and has posted them to the “AESTIR Appendices” and “AESTIR Commodity and Transportation Formats” pages of CBP.gov:

•  Appendix A – Commodity Filing Response Messages

In addition, the following two response codes have been added to production, and are now listed in the “Appendix A – Commodity Filing Response Messages” document mentioned above:  

•  Response Code: 652 
Narrative Text: INVALID SCHED B/HTS FOR PGA  
Severity: FATAL 
Proprietary Record ID/Data Elements: Input CL2 Record/Schedule B/HTS Number 
X.12 Segment ID/Data Elements: L1302 
Reason: The Schedule B/HTS Number declared on the CL2 record for this PGA is not allowed to be reported for this PGA. 
Resolution: The Schedule B/HTS number must be on the allowed list for the PGA. Verify, correct and retransmit. 

•  Response Code: 64A 
Narrative Text: PGA REQUIRED FOR HTS  
Severity: INFORMATIONAL (only during pilot) 
Proprietary Record ID/Data Elements: Input CL2 Record/Schedule B/HTS Number 
X.12 Segment ID/Data Elements: L1302 
Reason: The Schedule B/HTS Number declared on the CL2 record for this PGA is required to be reported for this PGA. 
Resolution: The Schedule B/HTS number requires PGA to be reported. Verify, correct and retransmit.

During the export pilot phase for PGAs, these codes (652 and 64A) will remain informational only; NO FATAL messages will be generated related to these response codes.
