Subject: NEW Duty Calculation Validations on ACE Entry Summary in CERTIFICATION
Attn: ACE Entry Summary Developers and Filers
On November 13, 2013, ACE will be deploying in
our CERTIFICATION environment; enhancements to the validations referred to as Simple Duty Calculation Validations on the ACE Entry Summary.
Simple Duty Calculation Validations ensures that an Entry Summary is not accepted in ACE if the importer's estimated duty does not conform to the rates and rules as specified in the HTS.
This is the ability to perform total and line calculations for duties for ACE Entry Summary lines with one HTS.
Please Note: These Duty Calculation Validations are being deployed into our CERTIFICATION environment. There will be no impact on production.
The following disposition codes and condition text will be used in the response messages from ACE.
