As many of you might already know, CBP’s new Center of Excellence and Expertise for Base Metals is now open. We invite you to attend a free live one-hour webinar on the benefits of participation in the Center. The webinar will be held on June 20, 2013 at 1200 noon (EDT).
Mrs. Maria Luisa Boyce, senior advisor for private sector engagement from CBP’s Office of Trade Relations, Allen Gina, the assistant commissioner of CBP’s Office of International Trade, as well as other speakers from CBP headquarters will provide updates on the agency’s Trade Transformation initiatives. The webinar also will share information on key programs related to security and trade facilitation including the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), Customs—Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), and Importer Self-Assessment (ISA). In addition, we will be introducing the Base Metals Center of Excellence and Expertise and providing several key steps of our transition to the CEE.
