Subject: Clarification on the Elimination of the Courtesy Notice of Liquidation
In response to questions received from the trade community, CBP would like to provide further
clarification regarding the recently published Federal Register Notice announcing the discontinuation of mailing paper courtesy notices of liquidation (see 76 FR 50883, published August 17, 2011). See attachment for additional information. Please note that, pursuant to CSMS# 11-000221 issued September 26, 2011, CBP is asking users to refrain from running the ACE Courtesy Notice of Liquidation Report, AM 100, until CBP issues further notification that the data load is complete.
