Subject: Ocean AMS Processing delays Nov 3
This is to inform all ocean AMS trade participants that Customs is experiencing a delay in
processing incoming data. The system is operational, but response times may be longer than usual for trade partners to receive replies. AMS particpants should not retransmit any manifests, amendments or other transactions, as this will just extend the delay.
Trade partners may continue to submit requests for Lloyd's code updates or additions via the CBP website mechanism, however, and those requests will be processed.
