October 08, 2008 – ATTENTION ALL ACE ACCOUNTS: Until further notice, please do NOT attempt to
add an Importer of Record (IR) number or Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) to your ACE Portal account. If you need to add an IR number or a SCAC, contact your Account Manager or open a trouble ticket and request that your account list be updated. Your request should include a list of IR numbers and SCACs to be updated. For IR numbers, please specify where in your account list the IR number needs to be added. If you attempt to add the IR number or SCAC to your own account, your ACE Portal account will be locked and you will need to open a trouble ticket to have it unlocked. A message will be posted to ACE Portal News when this issue is resolved.
