Subject: Problems with Expired CDLs
ACE is experiencing some synchronization issues with the FAST database that is causing
Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDL) to appear to be expired. This is causing ACE to reject manifests when the FAST card number is used to add the driver to a trip. We are working on resolving the issue as an emergency fix and will notify you of the ETA for the fix this as soon as possible.
In the interim, do not go to the FAST enrollment center or contact them. If this condition arises, send the driver information as a "one-time" driver by including all data fields but do not add the FAST card number. The driver should display their FAST card to the CBP Officer at arrival in the US.
