1. This is a correction to message 4009405, dated 01/09/2024 to change the Message Type in the header and to update paragraphs 2 and 3 of that message. 2. The Message Type in the header of message 4009405 has been changed to Type "Liquidation" since liquidation instructions have been added to the message. Paragraph 2 of message 4009405 has been updated to include liquidation instructions. Paragraph 3 has been replaced by paragraph 5 below which contains the relevant notice of lifting of suspension and cash deposit information. The header of this message contains the updated Message Type. Below is the fully corrected message. 3. On 07/13/2023, Commerce initiated a circumvention inquiry on whether common alloy aluminum sheet produced by Gwangyang Aluminum Industries Co., Ltd. in Korea, assembled or completed using flat rolled aluminum having a thickness greater than 6.3 mm produced by Henan Mingtai Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. or Zhengzhou Mingtai Industry Co., Ltd. in the People's Republic of China, and exported to the United States, is covered by the scope of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on common alloy aluminum sheet from the People's Republic of China (A-570-073; C-570-074). On 12/12/2023, Commerce rescinded the circumvention inquiry on common alloy aluminum sheet produced by Gwangyang Aluminum Industries Co., Ltd. in Korea, assembled or completed using flat rolled aluminum having a thickness greater than 6.3 mm produced by Henan Mingtai Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. or Zhengzhou Mingtai Industry Co., Ltd. in the People's Republic of China, and exported to the United States. See 88 FR 86110. For unliquidated entries of common alloy aluminum sheet produced by Gwangyang Aluminum Industries Co., Ltd. in Korea, assembled or completed using flat rolled aluminum having a thickness greater than 6.3 mm produced by Henan Mingtai Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. or Zhengzhou Mingtai Industry Co., Ltd. in the People's Republic of China, and exported to the United States that were entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption, CBP should liquidate such entries in accordance with appropriate previously issued liquidation instructions for the applicable period of review. 5. Notice of the lifting of suspension of liquidation of entries of subject merchandise covered by paragraph 4 occurred with the publication of the circumvention inquiry rescission (88 FR 86110, 12/12/2023). Unless instructed otherwise, for all other shipments of common alloy aluminum sheet from the People's Republic of China, you shall continue to collect cash deposits of estimated antidumping duties at the current rates. 6. In accordance with 19 CFR 351.225(l)(5), this instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures. 7.
