RE: CERTAIN CATOR OIL PRODUCTS FROM BRAZIL - CORRECTED
LIQUIDATION RATE FOR JANUARY 1, 1984 THROUGH JANUARY 27,
1984

The Department of Commerce has advised this office that the
referenced Email reflects the improper assessment rate for the
period January 1, 1984 through January 27, 1984. The correct
rate to be applied to entries in this time period is .82 percent;
not 2.66 percent.

The correct rates and time periods are as follows:

010184 through 012784 .82%
012884 through 123184 2.66%
010189 through 123190 Cash Deposit Required at Time of Entry

Any entries that were liquidated at the incorrect rate should be
reliquidated at the proper rate if possible. If reliquidation
cannot be done, importers should be advised of their right to
file a protest. Timely filed protests should be handled at the
district level without submission to Commerce.

Any questions on this subject can be directed to the Import
Specialist Division, Other Agency Branch at 202-566-8651 or by
Email to attribute HQ OAB.
