1. On 03/19/2018, the Department of Commerce published its final results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on large residential washers from Mexico (A-201-842) for the period 02/01/2016 through 01/31/2017 in the Federal Register (83 FR 11963). On 04/18/2018, producers and exporters Electrolux Home Products Corp. N.V. and Electrolux Home Products de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. and importer Electrolux Home Products, Inc. (collectively Electrolux) requested a bi-national panel review of the final results under the North American Free Trade Agreement.
On 05/02/2018, the United States Section of the North American Free Trade Agreement Secretariat published notice in the Federal Register of Electrolux's request for a binational panel review of the final results under the North American Free Trade Agreement (83 FR 19221), Ct. No. USA-MEX-2018-1904-04. Also on 05/02/2018, Electrolux requested that liquidation of entries of subject merchandise for the period 02/01/2016 through 01/31/2017 be suspended pursuant to 19 CFR 356.8.
2. Accordingly, until further notice, do not liquidate entries of subject merchandise which were produced and exported by Electrolux Home Products Corp. N.V. and Electrolux Home Products de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. and which were entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption, and imported by Electrolux Home Products, Inc. during the period 02/01/2016 through 01/31/2017.
Any such entries that are set for liquidation must be unset immediately. Continue to suspend liquidation of these entries until liquidation instructions are issued.
3. Effective immediately, CBP is instructed to prevent liquidation of any entries subject to the above.
4. The suspension of liquidation applies to the liquidation instructions in message number 8122328, dated 05/02/2018.
