1. This is a correction to message 6214306, dated 08/01/2016, to correct the RE line and paragraph 5 of that message.

2. The RE line and paragraph 5 of message 6214306 contains incorrect information about the gap period for liquidation and is now being corrected. Below is the fully corrected message.

RE: Gap period liquidation instructions for the antidumping duty investigation on certain corrosion-resistant steel from Italy for the period 07/02/2016 through 07/19/2016 (A-475-832)

3. In accordance with section 733(d) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, Commerce shall order the suspension of liquidation of entries of merchandise subject to an antidumping duty investigation and shall order the collection of estimated duties for a temporary period (the provisional-measures period). When entries of subject merchandise continue to be suspended after the close of the provisional-measures period, Commerce must instruct CBP to terminate suspension and liquidate entries without regard to antidumping duties on such merchandise.

4. On 07/02/2016, the provisional-measures period expired; suspension of liquidation of entries of subject merchandise may have continued.

5. Accordingly, for suspended entries of certain corrosion-resistant steel from Italy that were entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption during the period 07/02/2016 through 07/19/2016, CBP should terminate the suspension of liquidation and liquidate the entries without regard to antidumping duties (i.e., refund all cash deposits).

6. The interest provisions of section 778 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, do not apply.

7. The date of message 6214306 (08/01/2016) constitutes notice of the lifting of suspension of liquidation of entries of subject merchandise during the period 07/02/2016 through 07/19/2016.
