On 01/09/2026, Commerce initiated a scope inquiry on whether valley flashing material imported by Continental Materials Inc., is covered by the scope of the antidumping/countervailing duty orders on certain corrosion-resistant steel products from the People's Republic of China (A-570-026/C-570-027). Valley flashing material consists of flat rolled, thin, durable sheets of galvanized steel coated in corrosion resistant metals, such as aluminum and zinc, with an average thickness of 0.43 mm, an average length of 50 feet, and an average width of 1219 to 1220 mm. Rolls can also be cut into smaller widths of 406.40 mm (16 inches). The specific valley flashing material subject to this scope inquiry has a vanadium content of greater than 0.3 percent. 2. Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of valley flashing material imported by Continental Materials Inc. that are already subject to the suspension of liquidation under the antidumping/countervailing duty orders on certain corrosion-resistant steel products from the People's Republic of China at the cash deposit rate(s) in effect on the date of entry. Such entries should not be liquidated until specific liquidation instructions are issued. 3. In accordance with 19 CFR 351.225(l)(5), this instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures. 4.
