This is a correction to message 5099404, dated 04/09/2025, to correct paragraph 5 of that message.
2.
Paragraph 5 of message 5099404 contains incorrect information about the cash deposit rate for the China-Wide Entity, and an incomplete case number to deactivate.
Below is the fully corrected message.
3.
On 04/07/2025, Commerce published in the Federal Register (90 FR 14964) its final determination of sales at less than fair value in the antidumping duty investigation of 2,4-dicholorphenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) from the People's Republic of China (China).
4.
The products covered by this investigation are described in message 4324406, dated 11/19/2024.
5.
This proceeding has been assigned case number A-570-160.
6.
For imports of 2,4-D from China, CBP shall suspend liquidation of such shipments entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 04/07/2025.
7.
Effective 04/07/2025, CBP shall require, for entries of 2,4-D from China from the exporter/producer combinations listed below, a cash deposit equal to the antidumping duty cash deposit(s) shown below:
Exporter: China-Wide Entity
Case number:
A-570-160-000
Cash deposit rate: 127.21%
Note to CBP:
In the final determination, Commerce determined that Thai Harvest Ltd. and Jiangxi Tianyu Chemical Co., Ltd are no longer eligible for a separate rate and are part of the China-wide entity.
Accordingly, Commerce has deactivated the following exporter/producer chain rate case number:
A-570-160-001.
Effective 04/07/2025 (the date of publication of the final determination), entries of subject merchandise from this exporter/producer combination should be entered under A-570-160-000.
8.
For all other entries of 2,4-D from China, the following cash deposit instructions apply:
A.
For all Chinese exporters of 2,4-D from China which have not received their own rate, the cash deposit rate will be the China-wide rate.
B.
For all non-Chinese exporters of 2,4-D from China which have not received their own rate, the cash deposit rate will be the rate applicable to the exporter/producer combinations that supplied that non-Chinese exporter.
