On 08/09/2024, Commerce initiated a scope inquiry on whether magnesium alloy chips made in Japan with pure magnesium imported from China (magnesium alloy chips) are covered by the scope of the antidumping duty order on magnesium metal from China (A-570-896). See message 4229402. 2. On 02/03/2025, Commerce rescinded the scope inquiry of the antidumping duty order on product(s) covered by the inquiry. 3. Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of magnesium alloy chips from China that are subject to the antidumping duty order on pure magnesium from China at the applicable rate(s) in effect on the date of entry until liquidation instructions are issued. 4. In accordance with 19 CFR 351.225(l)(5), this instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures. 5.
