Re:
Initiation of circumvention inquiry - antidumping and countervailing duty orders on standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico (A-201-853; C-201-854)
1.
On 01/14/2025, Commerce initiated a circumvention inquiry to determine whether standard steel welded wire mesh that is completed in the United States from low carbon steel wire produced in Mexico (inquiry merchandise), is covered by the scope of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico (A-201-853; C-201-854).
See 90 FR 3173.
2.
Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of inquiry merchandise that are already subject to the suspension of liquidation under the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico at the cash deposit rate(s) in effect on the date of entry.
Such entries should not be liquidated until specific liquidation instructions are issued.
3.
In accordance with 19 CFR 351.226(l)(5), this instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures.
