1. On 04/11/2024, Commerce initiated a scope inquiry on whether certain temporary-use spare (T-Type) tires produced by Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd. (CST) and imported by its U.S. affiliate Cheng Shin Rubber USA Inc. (UCS) are covered by the scope of the antidumping duty order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from Taiwan (A-583-869). 2. Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of certain T-Type tires produced by CST and imported by UCS that are already subject to the suspension of liquidation under the antidumping duty order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from Taiwan at the cash deposit rates in effect on the date of entry. Such entries should not be liquidated until specific liquidation instructions are issued. 3. In accordance with 19 CFR 351.225(l)(5), this instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures. 4.
