COLD-ROLLED CARBON STEEK STEEL FLAT PRODUCTS FROM
VARIOUS COUNTRIES

1. ON JULY 9, 1993, THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE (DEPARTMENT)
PUBLISHED IN THE FEDERAL REGISTER THE DEPARTMENT'S FINAL
DETERMINATION THAT CERTAIN CARBON STEEL FLAT PRODUCTS FROM
VARIOUS COUNTRIES ARE BEING, OR ARE LIKELY TO BE SOLD AT LESS
THAN FAIR VALUE.

2. ONE OF THE FOUR CLASSES OR KINDS OF PRODUCTS COVERED BY THESE
INVESTIGATIONS IS CERTAIN COLD-ROLLED CARBON STEEL FLAT PRODUCTS.

3. ON AUGUST 9, 1993, THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION
NOTIFIED THE DEPARTMENT THAT IMPORTS OF COLD-ROLLED CARBON STEEL
FLAT PRODUCTS FROM ARGENTINA, BRAZIL, CANADA AND JAPAN NEITHER
MATERIALLY INJURE NOR THREATEN TO INJURE THE U.S. INDUSTRY.
THEREFORE, U.S. CUSTOMS SHALL TERMINATE THE SUSPENSION OF
LIQUIDATION PREVIOUSLY ORDERED ON COLD-ROLLED CARBON STEEL FLAT
PRODUCTS FROM THE ABOVE COUNTRIES, AND RELEASE OR REFUND ANY CASH
DEPOSIT OR BOND COLLECTED WITH RESPECT TO COLD-ROLLED CARBON
STEEL FLAT PRODUCTS FROM THE ABOVE COUNTRIES.

4. THESE CASES HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED THE FOLLOWING INVESTIGATION
