On 01/18/2023, Commerce initiated a scope inquiry on whether certain coated fabrics imported by Printing Textiles, LLC dba Berger Textiles (Berger), and described as Canvas Banner Matisse (CBM) polyester fabric woven filament fiber coated with polyvinyl acetate/acrylate-type polymers, is covered by the scope of the antidumping duty order on certain artist canvas from the People's Republic of China (China) (A-570-899). 2. Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of certain coated fabrics imported by Berger and described as polyester fabric woven filament fiber coated with polyvinyl acetate/acrylate-type polymers that are already subject to the suspension of liquidation under the antidumping duty order on certain artist canvas from China at the cash deposit rate(s) in effect on the date of entry. Berger's request for scope inquiry identified the product subject to the request with the trade name Canvas Banner Matisse (CBM) coated fabric. Such entries should not be liquidated until specific liquidation instructions are issued. 3. In accordance with 19 CFR 351.225(l)(5), this instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures. 4.
