1. On 07/18/2022, Commerce initiated circumvention inquiries to determine whether certain aluminum foil assembled and completed in the Republic of Korea (Korea) and the Kingdom of Thailand (Thailand) using Chinese-origin aluminum foil and/or sheet, that is subsequently exported from Korea and Thailand to the United States (products covered by the inquiries) are covered by the scope of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on certain aluminum foil from the People's Republic of China (A 570-053; C-570-054). See 87 FR 42702. 2. Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of products covered by the inquiries that are already subject to the suspension of liquidation under the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on certain aluminum foil from the People's Republic of China at the cash deposit rate(s) in effect on the date of entry. Such entries should not be liquidated until specific liquidation instructions are issued. 3. This instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures. 4.
