On 01/20/2022, in response to a request by Hammond Power Solutions, Inc., Commerce issued a final scope determination that specially processed, beveled aluminum foil conductor for transformer coil windings that is further processed in Canada using common alloy aluminum sheet produced in the People's Republic of China, and that is exported from Canada by Hammond Power Solutions, Inc., and imported by Hammond Power Solutions, Inc. is within the scope of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on common alloy aluminum sheet from the People's Republic of China (A-570-073 and C-570-074).

Because the imported product is covered by the plain language of the scope of the orders and is not substantially transformed through further processing that occurs in Canada, Commerce found this product to be within the scope of the orders.

Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of common alloy aluminum sheet from the People's Republic of China, including specially processed, beveled aluminum foil conductor for transformer coil windings that is further processed in Canada using common alloy aluminum sheet produced in the People's Republic of China, and that is exported from Canada by Hammond Power Solutions, Inc., and imported by
Hammond Power Solutions, Inc. described above, subject to the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on common alloy aluminum sheet from the People's Republic of China.
