1. AS A RESULT OF NOTIFICATION FROM THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE
COMMISSION THAT TERMINATION OF THE SUSPENDED INVESTIGATION ON
URANIUM FROM UZBEKISTAN WOULD NOT BE LIKELY TO LEAD TO
CONTINUATION OR RECURRENCE OF MATERIAL INJURY IN THE UNITED
STATES WITHIN A REASONABLY FORESEEABLE TIME, THE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMERCE HAS TERMINATED THE SUSPENDED INVESTIGATION AND PUBLISHED
THE TERMINATION IN THE FEDERAL REGISTER ON AUGUST 22, 2000 (65 FR
41441).

2. THEREFORE, QUOTA CERTIFICATES/CERTIFICATES OF ORIGIN, AS WELL
AS WRITTEN CERTIFICATIONS FROM IMPORTERS OF RECORD STATING THAT
THE URANIUM WAS NOT OBTAINED UNDER ANY ARRANGEMENT, SWAP,
EXCHANGE, OR OTHER TRANSACTION DESIGNED TO CIRCUMVENT THE
AGREEMENT, WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY RELEASE OF
URANIUM FROM UZBEKISTAN OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY ON OR AFTER AUGUST
22, 2000. IN ADDITION, FORWARDING OF IMPORT DOCUMENTATION FOR
ENTRIES OF URANIUM ON OR AFTER AUGUST 22, 2000 WILL NO LONGER BE
REQUIRED. ANY SUSPENDED ENTRIES SHOULD BE LIQUIDATED WITHOUT
REGARD TO ANTIDUMPING DUTIES.
