1. ON 05/13/2010 THE U.S. COURT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE (CIT) ISSUED A PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION ENJOINING LIQUIDATION OF CERTAIN ENTRIES EXPORTED BY LG CHEM., LTD. AND IMPORTED BY WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION, OR ITS SUBSIDIARY, MAYTAG CORPORATION, WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO THE ANTIDUMPING DUTY ORDER ON CORROSION-RESISTANT CARBON STEEL FLAT PRODUCTS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA (A-580-816) FOR THE PERIOD, 08/01/2007 THROUGH 07/31/2008.

2. THIS PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION WAS ISSUED IN CONNECTION WITH COURT CASE NUMBER 10-00106 AND ENJOINS LIQUIDATION OF THE ENTRIES DESCRIBED ABOVE. THIS INJUNCTION SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY EFFECTIVE.

3. THIS PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION APPLIES TO THE LIQUIDATION INSTRUCTIONS COVERED BY MESSAGE NUMBER 0099306, DATED 04/09/2010, AND MESSAGE NUMBER 0117301, DATED 04/27/2010.

4. ACCORDINGLY, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, CBP IS INSTRUCTED NOT TO LIQUIDATE ENTRIES OF MERCHANDISE SUBJECT TO THE PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION, AS DESCRIBED IN PARAGRAPH #1 OF THIS INSTRUCTION. ANY ENTRIES THAT ARE SET FOR LIQUIDATION MUST BE UNSET IMMEDIATELY. CONTINUE TO SUSPEND LIQUIDATION OF OTHER ENTRIES OF CORROSION-RESISTANT CARBON STEEL FLAT PRODUCTS FOR THE PERIOD, 08/01/2007 THROUGH 07/31/2008 EXPORTED BY LG CHEM., LTD. AND IMPORTED BY WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION, OR ITS SUBSIDIARY, MAYTAG CORPORATION, UNTIL LIQUIDATION INSTRUCTIONS ARE PROVIDED.
