1. ON JULY 23, 1999, THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE COMMISSION (ITC)
NOTIFIED THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE OF ITS NEGATIVE FINAL
DETERMINATION IN THE ANTIDUMPING DUTY INVESTIGATION OF
URANIUM FROM THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN. ACCORDINGLY, THE
ANTIDUMPING DUTY INVESTIGATION OF URANIUM FROM THE REPUBLIC
OF KAZAKHSTAN HAS BEEN TERMINATED.

2. FIELD OFFICES SHOULD DISCONTINUE SUSPENSION OF LIQUIDATION
OF ALL SHIPMENTS OF THIS MERCHANDISE ENTERED, OR WITHDRAWN
FROM WAREHOUSE, FOR CONSUMPTION. ALL ESTIMATED ANTIDUMPING
DUTIES DEPOSITED ON ENTRIES OF THE SUBJECT MERCHANDISE SHALL
BE REFUNDED AND THE BONDS OR OTHER SECURITY RELEASED AT THE
TIME OF LIQUIDATION.

3. INTEREST PROVISIONS OF SECTION 778 OF THE TARIFF ACT OF 1930
DO NOT APPLY.

4. IF THERE ARE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS MATTER BY CUSTOMS

SHALL CONTINUE ON URANIUM SUBJECT TO THE ORDER ON URANIUM
FROM THE UKRAINE AND CERTAIN URANIUM ENTRIES SUBJECT TO THE
SUSPENSION AGREEMENTS WITH RUSSIA, UZBEKISTAN AND KYRGYZSTAN.
PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT THE LANGUAGE IN THE RUSSIAN
SUSPENSION AGREEMENT REQUIRES ALL MATERIAL ENRICHED IN
RUSSIA TO BE SUBJECT TO THE RUSSIAN SUSPENSION AGREEMENT.

6. THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS ON THE RELEASE OF THIS
INFORMATION.
