Micronutrient fortification programs
(a)
In general

Purpose
The purpose of a program shall be to—
(A)
assist developing countries in correcting micronutrient dietary deficiencies among segments of the populations of the countries; and
(B)
assess and apply technologies and systems to improve and ensure the quality, shelf life, bioavailability, and safety of fortified food aid agricultural commodities, and products of those agricultural commodities.
