§ 3063.
Designation of senior officials for biotechnology

Designation
(b)
Specified elements
The elements of the intelligence community specified in this subsection are the following:
(1)
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
(2)
The Central Intelligence Agency.
(3)
The National Security Agency.
(4)
The Defense Intelligence Agency.
(5)
The intelligence elements of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
(6)
The Office of Intelligence and Counterintelligence of the Department of Energy.
(c)
Notice to Congress
Not later than 15 days after designating a senior official under this section, the head of the element of the intelligence community designating such official shall submit notice of the designation to—
(1)
the congressional intelligence committees and the Committees on Appropriations of the Senate and the House of Representatives; and
(2)
in the case of a designation relating to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Committees on the Judiciary of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
