be within the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence;

be responsible for the receipt, analysis, collation, and dissemination of foreign intelligence and foreign counterintelligence information (within the meaning of section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 401a)) 1 related to the operation and responsibilities of the Department of the Treasury; and

have such other related duties and authorities as may be assigned to it by the Secretary, subject to the authority, direction, and control of the Secretary.
