§ 2302.
Enlistments; term, grade
(a)
Under regulations prescribed by the Secretary, the Commandant may enlist persons for the duration of their minority or a period of at least two years but not more than six years.
(b)
The Secretary shall prescribe the grades or ratings for persons enlisting in the Regular Coast Guard.
