RE: Modification of HQ 951943; IA 28/92; Revocation of
NY 825024; "Highway Emergency Kit"
Dear Sir:
This is in reference to HQ 951943, dated June 26, 1992, which
dealt with the request for internal advice concerning the
classification of the "Highway Emergency Kit" under the Harmonized
Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS).
In HQ 951943, we revoked NY 825024, dated March 25, 1988,
which involved the classification of a similar highway kit. In the
"EFFECT ON OTHER RULINGS" section of HQ 951943, we mistakenly
referred to NY 825024 as NY 872024.
This letter is notice to you that HQ 951943 should be modified
so that "NY 872024" is stricken and replaced by "NY 825024" in the
"EFFECT ON OTHER RULINGS" section of the ruling.
You should advise the internal advice applicant involved in
HQ 951943 of this modification.
